Digital Mandi – Smart Agricultural Marketplace Platform

Abstract / Introduction

Agriculture is a major contributor to the economy of Pakistan, yet farmers often face challenges such as unfair pricing, dependence on middlemen, and limited access to broader markets. Traditional mandi systems require physical presence, making the process time-consuming, inefficient, and sometimes exploitative for 
farmers. The proposed Digital Mandi platform aims to digitize agricultural trading by connecting farmers directly with buyers through an online system. The platform will allow farmers to list their products, set prices, and interact with buyers without intermediaries. Buyers will be able to search, compare, and purchase agricultural goods easily. This system will improve transparency, efficiency, and profitability in the agricultural supply chain.
