Design and Development of the FashionHub Web Application

Abstract / Introduction

FashionHub is a modern web-based digital marketplace designed to connect fashion suppliers and customers on a centralized platform managed by an administrator. The system provides a seamless and user-friendly environment where suppliers can upload and manage their fashion products, while customers can explore, compare, and purchase items. This platform specifically focuses on fashion and lifestyle 
products, aiming to enhance online shopping experiences with advanced filtering, secure transactions, and interactive features such as reviews and wish list. The system includes three main roles: Admin, Supplier, and Customer, each having specific functionalities. The admin oversees the entire platform, suppliers manage their products and performance, and customers enjoy a smooth shopping journey.
 

Functional Requirements:
1. User Registration & Profile Management
• Users can create accounts and log in securely.
• Roles include Admin, Supplier, and Customer.
• Users can update profile information.
 

2. Product Management System
• Suppliers can add, update, and delete products.
• Each product includes:

o Name
o Category
o Price
o Description
o Stock Availability
o Images
 

3. Product Categories
• Products will be divided into categories such as:
o Fashion (Clothing, Shoes, Accessories)
o Beauty & Lifestyle
o Seasonal Collections
 

4. Search & Filtering
• Users can search products by:
o Name
o Category
o Price range
• Advanced filtering options for better user experience.
 

5. Order Management
• Customers can:
o Place orders
o View order history
o Track order status (Pending, Shipped, Delivered)
 

6. Payment System
o Cash on Delivery (COD)
7. Shopping Cart & Wishlist
• Users can add/remove items from cart.
• Wishlist feature for saving favorite products.
 

8. Ratings & Reviews
• Customers can give ratings and reviews.
• Admin will approve reviews before publishing.

• Admin and suppliers can view:
